Sewing + Oil Hair Treatment!

March 27, 2013

AHHH! It's just crazy, busy week, after another crazy, busy week! One right after another! So this is my {super duper} late post about what I did this past weekend!

Besides work, for the very time time...I SEWED! The seaming one of my cardagin's came undone, so my mom helped me with that. And, a lot of shirt I get, the neckline is too low, so from the inside my mom sews it up. to bring the neckline higher. Here take a look!

My mom and one of her friends also made their own 'oil for hair care' by combing simple oils that you can find at your local drugstore or local grocery store. It includes Avocado Oil, E Oil, and Tea Tree Oil, and of course Olive Oil. I put this in my hair in the evening, and left in my hair overnight as well. I've begun to see some small changes, but for me to see really amazing results, I will have to put the oil in my hair a few more times.

Here are the benefits of each:
Avocado Oil: Avocado oil has a number of benefits and uses, and its use in hair care is one of its most important benefits. It is an edible oil that is extracted from the avocado fruit pulp and has a sweet and nutty aroma. It has a light texture that makes it is easily absorbed into the scalp and skin. Use of avocado oil can help deal with a number of hair problems like hair fall, thinning of hair, and dandruff. Avocado oil has a number of nutrients that can benefit the growth and the health of all kinds of hair, especially dry hair  It contains essential nutrients like proteins, vitamins A, D, E and B6, magnesium, copper, iron, amino acids and folic acid, all of which is extremely essential for hair growth and nourishment. It is also known to have natural sunscreen properties that can protect the hair and scalp from the damage caused by the harmful UVA and UVB rays of the sun. This oils is quite effective in getting rid of dandruff as well. {information via}

E oil: Vitamin E, as it has been studied, is beneficial for several aspects of our health. And one of the most important aspects is about keeping the hair healthy and glowing.
One of the pure vitamin E oil benefits for hair is that it prevents premature graying of hair, as it is also known to possess anti-aging qualities.The benefits of vitamin E oil for hair loss comes from the quality of the oil to repair split ends. {information via}

Tea Tree Oil: Helps prevent  hair loss, helps hair growth, getting rid of hair lice, and much more!  Natural tea tree oil benefits include the eradication of these yeast or fungal microorganisms by clearing out and unblocking the hair follicles; thus, eliminating dandruff.
But it is of optimum importance that you do not use concentrated tea tree oil as it can give rise to skin eruptions and allergies. {information via}

Olive Oil: One of the best advantages of using olive oil for hair is that it helps in preventing as well as curing hair loss. Most people have hair loss because of the presence of a hormone called DTH which causes the hair follicle shaft to decrease. Applying olive oil to hair prevents the production of DTH hormones on the scalp, thus getting rid of the problem of hair loss.
The presence of antioxidants in olive oil makes it an appropriate hair oil that promotes overall scalp health. The hair damage caused due to excessive use of chemical based hair products can be treated with the help of olive oil, thus giving room for growth of healthy hair.
Apart from the fact that olive oil is an effective treatment for hair loss, it also acts as a natural conditioner for hair. In other words, applying olive oil on hair makes it shiny and soft.
The anti fungal and antibacterial properties of olive oil is a great way to get rid of problems like dandruff and head lice. Moreover, massaging your hair with a mixture of olive oil and lavender oil is very relaxing and acts as a great stress buster. {information via}
