Salty Day, Salty Snacks

Day 17 of  #OctPoWriMo
Prompt: Savory
Type: Sonnet

Salty Day, Salty Snacks
Pizza from The Grove, in Austin, TX

Oh, what a day, it sure has been salty.
Tears brimming my eyes all of a sudden,
The lips they touch know the reason, sullen.
What happened, happened, I am the faulty.
Since it is only Monday, I shall forget.
Craving to have some warm comfort food now,
From chocolate to pizza, choices, which one to get?
If not some food, then the comfort from thou?

Oh, Aishah, be real, food is easier,
From one pantry to another, choices await
The lines go on, and this poem gets cheesier.
Potato chips and popcorn, what else have I ate?
Salty snacks are my favorite, that is true
A number of possibilities, endless.
What will I eat next? That I have no clue!
A salty food, perhaps? yes I shall guess!
